For Newborn Photography, The ideal time is within the first two-three weeks after birth, but sessions can take place at any point during the newborn stage. Older babies are always welcome.
Maternity photography sessions are best scheduled between 28ā34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined but youāre still feeling comfortable. Youāre welcome to book as soon as you feel ready.
For milestone or family photography, I recommend booking as soon as you start thinking about it, especially for weekend dates, which tend to fill up quickly.

Most sessions take place in one or two light filled rooms, often a bedroom, living room, nursery or even kitchen / family room. We keep things simple and move only where the light works best. If you are unsure of what rooms to use please feel free to drop me a message and share some images or videos of the space so I can help.

This allows time for feeding, settling, and natural moments to unfold without pressure. All Newborn sessions are fully baby-led, with time for feeding, settling and breaks as needed. Thereās never any rushing, and I wonāt be watching the clock if a little extra time is needed.
At home family sessions are around two hours, and extended family sessions between two to three hours depending on numbers and individual needs.
