Wander Sessions are relaxed, story led family photography sessions created around the places that matter most. That might be your favourite city, a much loved local town, or somewhere special you’re visiting on holiday.
These sessions are about documenting your time together in a way that feels natural and unhurried, allowing the surroundings to become part of your family’s story rather than a backdrop.

These sessions are slower and more observational than my standard outdoor sessions, creating space for movement, exploration and quiet moments to unfold naturally. They are ideal for families who enjoy storytelling, whether that means stopping for coffee, sharing ice cream by the river, wandering familiar streets, or simply spending time together in a place you love , as the day unfolds.
Wander Sessions are also popular with families visiting the UK, especially those travelling from overseas who want to document their time here and remember a place that feels meaningful during their stay.
who are they for?
Rather than working around a single outdoor location or sunset window, Wander Sessions unfold as we move through a place together. Streets, architecture, light and everyday moments become part of the story, creating photographs that feel layered and personal.
We can gently incorporate meaningful elements along the way. This might look like visiting a favourite bakery, stopping for a hot chocolate, wandering into a bookshop, or bringing along something that feels like you. Perhaps you love taking photographs yourselves, or there is a small ritual you always share as a family. Anything that reflects who you are can help your story unfold naturally.
These sessions are less about posing and more about presence. They suit families who enjoy walking, exploring and allowing a place and its moments to shape the rhythm of their time together.
