Family, Sunset Sessions

When some people think of family photographs, false cheesy smiles and everyone. But, the truth is, the family photography has moved on so much in the last 10 years. As a result, there are many different styles and looks. Although traditional portrait photographers still exist, but many families now prefer an undone. I opt for a relaxed approach to family photography. It’s no secret that I love gorgeous scenery Stunning locations go perfectly hand in hand with my style of photography.

Why is hard to pick the best location ?

I have spent a great deal of time scouting out some incredible locations across Hampshire for you to have your family photographs! Therefore, If you think a beach session for your family photographs this summer doesn’t appeal, this alternative location is perfect for you.

Family photographs in the wild meadows of Hampshire

I just love the bohemian vibe of a wild meadow?! The beautiful long grasses waving sleepily in the breeze, the simple down-to-earth natural backdrop of the meadow, the rays of sun making golden shards of the grass. It’s such a peaceful, relaxing, intimate setting for a family photoshoot.

Wild meadows are a gift that keeps on giving. Not only do the wildflowers change constantly. The luscious tall grass makes through out the year compliment all varieties of wildflower. With such a secluded location, it’s the ideal place for your family photos. And your children will love playing in the meadow.

You will not only be surrounded by nature, you will also be secluded from the hubbub of the world. While enjoying the beauty of nature, you and your family will be able to spend some quality time together. The end result will be intimate, beautiful, relaxed, and joy-filled photos you’ll be eager to frame.

Let’s focus on connection

As with all my sessions, our wild meadow family photographs will be planned by myself to create beautiful images that capture the essence of your family.

Above all, I know that in order to create images you love, we can’t just ‘create’ emotions for the sake of the shoot. That’s why my sessions focus around creating real moments of connection between you as a family, moments that capture who you are, and how you feel towards each other. We’ll relax, we’ll have fun, we’ll play games, and I’ll create a session that’s an experience in itself. One you’ll remember forever.

What should we wear

When it comes to meadow sessions, I recommend muted shades of cream, brown, green and lovely warm earthy shades. These colors combine perfectly with my editing style and will complement the location and the warm, golden sun perfectly. There is no need to go with anything too bold since the meadow shoots always have a much more laid-back, rustic aesthetic.

As always, Pinterest is a great place to look for inspiration. I try and keep this up to date with the latest styles, and clothes available from the UK high street.
